With journaling, it is essential to put your thoughts and feelings down on paper. However, I have a caution...Don't be a pessimist. I believe there is magic in the way one thinks. So if you see only/mostly the negative--your life will more likely be downbeat. However, the more gratitude you express, the more happiness you notice, the more likely you will have a positive life and strength to overcome life's challenges.
